RESOLUTION NO. 7643(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR
CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
LOCATED AT THE SANTA MONICA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS,
the
Southern
California
Edison
Company
requires a Grant of Easement for construction and maintenance of
electrical equipment to provide continued service to the City of
Santa Monica; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide the required service
the use of pUblic property is required; and
WHEREAS, Southern California Edison Company desires
that the City grant an easement for the use of the public
property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an easement is of
direct benefit to the City of Santa Monica,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Grant of Easement to Southern
California Edison Company is approved and the city Manager is
authorized to execute the Grant of Easement attached hereto and
more fully described in Drawing No. 4420 on file in the Office of
the City Engineer.

2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
