A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA ESTABLISHING THE GANN APPROPRIATIONS lIMIT FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1988-89
WHEREAS, the City Council is required under the provisions of
Government Code Sectlon 7910 and Article XIII8 of the Callfornia Constitution
to establish its appropriations llmit by resolution; and
WHEREAS, documentation used In the determination of the
appropriations limit has been avallable to the publlc for fifteen days prior
to this meetlng as requlred by Government Code Section 7910,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOllOWS;
SECTION 1. For purposes of Artlcle XIIIB of the Callfornia
Const i tut ion, the Ci ty of Santa Moni ca appropri at ions 1 imi t for the fi sca 1
year 1988-89 shall be $50,896,388.
SECTION 2. The City Cl erk sha 11 cert ify to the adopt i on of the
Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
