RESOLUTION NUMBER 8120(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA PERTAINING TO AN
APPLICATION FOR CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL
ENHANCEMENT AND MITIGATION FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Environmental Enhancement and Mitigation Program
was established in 1989 under AB 471: and
WHEREAS, the city of Santa Monica has identified two
environmental enhancement and mitigation projects which are
eligible under the guidelines of the grant program: and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the city of Santa
Monica to minimize the environmental impacts from the Fourth
street on-ramp project and the Airport air and landside
separation project,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Monica
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 :
The Ci ty Manager or his or her designee is
authorized to apply for and receive California Environmental
Enhancement and Mitigation Program Funding.
SECTION 2: The city Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
the Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
