R-8138 ; e e RESOLUTION NO. 8138(CCS) (CITY COUNCIL SERIES) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE CONFIRMATION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR STREET LIGHTING ON VARIOUS STREETS, ALL WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Superintendent of Streets will file a report of work pursuant to Sect10n 5882 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, relating to the installation of street lighting completed on: 1. 24th street, from Pico Boulevard to Pearl Street: 2. Franklin, from Northerly city Limits to City reservoirs; 3. Ashland, from 4th Street to 6th Street; 4. 15th Street, from Broadway to Colorado Avenue; 5. Harvard street, from Montana Avenue to Wllshlre Boulevard; 6. Delaware Avenue, from Stewart Street to Warwick Avenue; 7. Plne Street, from Lincoln Boulevard to 7th street; 8. lOth Street, at Ashland Avenue and 220' southeasterly; 9. 7th Street, from Colorado Avenue to olympic Boulevard Westbound; and 10. Lincoln Boulevard, from Santa Monica Boulevard to Olympic Boulevard Westbound, all within the City of Santa Monica. SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 5870, et seq. of said Code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the 22nd day of January, 1991, ln the city Chambers of the C1ty Hall, it will hear and pass upon any and all objections or protests to ~ e - the report of work of the Superintendent of Streets, and the amount of the assessment assigned against the real property described in said report. SECTION 3 . All protests or objections must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of protests and objections. SECTION 4. The City Clerk hereby is directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by law, of the adoption of thlS Resolution to all persons ownlng real property in the hereinbefore described assessment district whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for the city taxes or as known to the City Clerk. SECTION 5. The city Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
