A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT
AND USE BY THE WATER DIVISION OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA OF A CHECKING ACCOUNT IN THE
NAME OF THE BAYSAVER FIXTURE REBATE PROGRAM
WITH WELLS FARGO BANK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Water Division of the City of Santa
Monica is hereby authorized to establish an account in the name
of "City of Santa Monica, BAYSAVER Fixture Rebate Program
Account" with Wells Fargo Bank upon such terms and conditions as
are provided by the statutes of the state of California governing
public deposits.
SECTION 2. That the utilities Manager, Water Conservation
Coordinator, Finance Director, and City Treasurer are hereby
authorized to deposit funds in said account, and to issue from
said account rebate checks signed by any incumbent of said
positions with signature duly certified to said bank by the City
of Santa Monica, and said bank hereby is authorized to honor and
pay such checks so signed.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
