RESOLUTION NUMBER 8086 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ACKNOWLEDGING THE DESIGNATION OF
THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
AS THE CONGESTION MANAGEMENT AGENCY FOR
THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, Government Code section 65089 requires the
development of a Congestion Management Program in the County of
Los Angeles~ and,
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles county Transportation
commission is the appropriate agency in the County of Los Angeles
to be designated as the Congestion Management Agency under the
provisions of Government Code Section 65089; and,
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles county Transportation
commission by action taken on July 25, 1990 has supported its
designation as the congestion Management Agency,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
section 1. The City Council of the city of Santa
Monica does hereby acknowledge the designation of the Los Angeles
County Transportation Commission as the Congestion Management
Agency for the County of Los Angeles.
section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
