A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE AND
RECORDATION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED AT 3201 WILSHIRE
BOULEVARD, IN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA
Whereas, in conjunction with development of real property
located in the City of Santa Monica (t1city"), a request has been
made to quitclaim the City'S use of a five (5) foot wide utility
easement at the property located at 3201 Wilshire Boulevard; and
Whereas, the existing utility easement has been abandoned
and is therefore deemed unnecessary for use as such; and
Whereas, said utility easement is described as the North-
easterly five (5) feet of Lots 149 and 150 of Tract No. 2385, in
the City of Santa Monica, County of Los Angeles, State of Cali-
fornia, as shown on Pages 110 and 111 of Maps, Book 23, on file
in the Office of the county Recorder of said county, and as shown
in Drawing No. 4439 on file in the City Engineer's Office, City
Hall, Santa Monica, California,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The attached quitclaim over the subject easement
is hereby approved and the city Manager is authorized to accept
such and record the quitclaim with the Los Angeles county
Recorder's Office.

SECTION 2. The city Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
