A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT GRANTS OR DEEDS TO THE CITY FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The City Council of the City of Santa Monica
hereby authorizes the City Manager to accept those interests in
real property, including easements, made to the city of Santa
Monica, and consents to the recordations thereof by the City Clerk
of the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Monica, in
granting this authority, is proceeding in accordance with section
27281 of the Business and Professions Code.
SECTION 3.
All such interests and easements are strictly
those for public improvements such as easements for sidewalk
purposes and dedications for street widening.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this
ReSOlution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
