A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AMENDING SECTION l(J) OF
RESOLUTION NUMBER 6807 (CCS) PERTAINING TO
FEES FOR USE OF THE SANTA MONICA PIER AND
CAROUSEL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. pictures for Commercial Purposes.
J. Notwithstanding any other provision of this
Resolution, the schedule of fees to be charged for the issuance
of a permit for the filming of cOMmerical motion pictures,
commercial television films, and commercial still photography,
promotional or private parties on the Santa Monica Pier and the
carousel, both of which are City property, for each day or
portion thereof are hereby established on the following schedule.
For the purpose of the rental of the Carousel for a
private party under this Resolution, non-profit and student
organizations are those which fall under the following
categories:
1. Non-profit charitable organizations with less than
fifty (50) employees.
2.
Schools,
SChool-sponsored groups,
and youth
organizations.
Non-profit organizations shall supply a certificate
stating that they are exempt and clasified as non-profit under
federal
and
state
taxing
statutes.
Schools
or
youth
organizations shall supply a written certificate from the school

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
CERTIFYING THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
ON THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, a Notice of Preparation of an Environmental Impact
Report was issued in February, 1989: and
WHEREAS, a Notice of Completion of a Draft Environmental
Impact Report was published in September, 1989, in compliance
with the California Environmental Quality Act and the city of
Santa Monica CEQA Guidelines: and
WHEREAS, the Draft Environmental Impact Report was made
available for a 30-day public review period beginning on
September 20, 1989: and
WHEREAS, in November, 1989, the Final Environmental Impact
Report was published: and
WHEREAS, on January 23, 1990, the city council, as Lead
Agency, reviewed the Final Environmental Impact Report,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The city Council has reviewed and considered the
Final Environmental Impact Report on the Housing Element of the
General Plan.

certifies
that
the
environmental review for the Housing Element was conducted in
full compliance with State and city CEQA Guidelines, that there
was adequate public review of the Draft Environmental Impact
Report, that it has considered all comments on the Draft
Environmental Impact Report and responses to comments, that the
Final Environmental Impact Report adequately discusses all
significant environmental issues, and that the City Council has
considered the contents of the Final Environmental Impact Report
in its decision-making process.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR
OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS, AND
CURBS (SR-90-160)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Superintendent of Streets will file a
report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, relating to the
construction of certain improvements to sidewalks and driveways
at 2515 La Mesa Way, 2228 22nd Street, 2218 22nd Street, 2212
22nd Street, 2204 22nd street, 2202 22nd Street, 815 Grant
Street, 1754-1762 12th street, 1761 10th Street, 1760 lOth
street, 1515 Hill street, 1402 Hill street, 124l Euclid Street,
1235 Euclid street, 2618 26th Street, all within the City of
Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to section 5600 et seg. of said code,
the City council does hereby order and declare that on the 8th
day of May 1990, at 7:30 P.M., in the city council Chambers of
city Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repairs, together with
any objections or protests, if any, which may be raised by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repairs
and any other interested persons.
SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be in writing
and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for the
hearing of the protests and objections.

SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the costs of repair and of the adoption of this
Resolution to all persons owning real property affected by the
sidewalk assessment repair program, whose names and addresses
appear on the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes
or as known to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
