A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA DESIGNATING THE HOURS OF
PARKING METER OPERATION (ENFORCEMENT) FOR
CERTAIN LOCATIONS IN VARIOUS PARKING METER
ZONES THROUGHOUT THE CITY
WHEREAS, the city of Santa Monica desires to have
uniform hours of parking meter operation (enforcement) in various
high parking demand areas throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Monica
has enacted an ordinance establishing several parking meter zones
throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance requires that the hours of
operation (enforcement) be established by the City Council by
resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described streets or portions
of streets in Parking Meter zone "A" shall have parking meter
hours of operation from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight daily:
(a) All streets lying within the area bounded by Ocean
Avenue, Lincoln Boulevard, California Avenue, and pico Boulevard,
including both sides of the boundary streets, except that Ocean
Avenue, Main street, the City Hall parking lot, and pico
Boulevard between 4th street and Ocean Avenue shall be excluded.

SECTION 2. The following described streets or portions
of streets in parking Meter Zone "A" shall have parking meter
hours of operation from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Monday
through Saturday.
(a) Both sides of Wilshire Boulevard and Santa Monica
Boulevard from Lincoln Boulevard to the eastern city limits.
(b) All sides streets intersecting wilshire Boulevard
and Santa Monica Boulevard from that intersection point to a
point where the commercially zoned parcels end.
SECTION 3. The following described streets or portions
of streets in parking Meter Zone "c" shall have parking meter
hours of operation from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight daily
(a) All of Ocean Avenue and all streets west thereof.
(b) All street lying within the area bounded by Pico
Boulevard, Third Street, southerly city limits and Barnard Way,
including both sides of the boundary streets.
(c) Main Street between Pico Boulevard and Colorado
Avenue.
SECTION 4. The following locations in parking Meter
Zone "E" shall have parking meter hours of operation from 8: 00
a.m. to 12:00 midnight daily:
(a) All parking structures owned or operated by the
City of Santa Monica located in the area bounded by Wilshire
Boulevard, Fourth Street, Broadway and Second street.

SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
