RESOLUTION NO. 6690(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS. DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-48)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Super1ntendent of Streets w1ll file
a report of repa1r pursuant to Sect10n 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Cal1forn1a, relat1ng to the
construction of certain 1mprovements to sidewalks and dr1veways at
2120 Oak, 2116 Oak, 2108 Oak, 2338 Ocean Park Blvd.. 2330 21st
St., 1701 Oak, 1801 Oak~ 2102 Pearl, 2028 Pearl, 2402 21st St. ~
2101 Pea rl 2427 21st St., 2334 21st St., 2338 21st St., 2344
21st St., 2416 21st St., 2506 21st St., 2512 21st St. and 2442
21st., all w1th1n the C1ty of Santa Mon1ca. A public hearing must
be held pursuant to provisions all within the City of Santa
Monica.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
sa1d code, the C1ty Counc1l does hereby order and declare that on
the 12th day of July~ 1983. at 7:30 P.M., 1n the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repalr, together with any
obJections or protests, Tf any, which may be raised by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
writlog and filed wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hear1ng of protests and objections.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets 1S hereby
directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of this resolut1on
to all persons own1ng real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equallzed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to
the Clty Clerk,
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
