A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CHECKING
ACCOUNT ENTITLED WORKERS' COMPENSATION ACCOUNT WITH THE
SANTA MONICA BANK.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Resolution Number 6575 (CCS) be and hereby ~s
rescinded.
SECTION 2. That the C~ty of Santa Monica lS hereby authorized
to establ1.sh an account ent~tled "Workers' Compensatlon Account" wlth
Santa Monica Bank upon such terms and condltlons as are prov~ded by the
Statutes of the state of Californla governlng public deposlts.
SECTION 3. That the Dlrector of Flnance, Charles M. Dennis, and
the City Treasurer, Kay Watanabe, are hereby authorized to deposit funds
ln sald account, and to wlthdraw funds from sald account upon warrants
and/or checks signed with both of said s1.gnatures duly cert1.fied to sald
bank by the Clty of Santa Mon1.Cai and said bank hereby is author1.zed to
honor and pay such warrants and/or checks so signed.
SECTION 4. That the followlng personnel, who are regular
employees of ComCo Management, Inc" self-lnsurance admin~strators under
contract w1.th the C1.ty of Santa Monlca, are hereby author1.zed indlvidually
to withdraw funds from said account upon warrants and/or checks of less
than $3,000.00 each, s1.gned wlth anyone of thelr signatures duly
certified to sald bank by the Clty of Santa Monlcai and said bank hereby
