RESOLUTION NO. 6699(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-49)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superintendent of Streets will file
a report of repa1r pursuant to Sect10n 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Californiat relat1ng to the
construct1on of certain 1mprovements to sidewalks and driveways at
205 Pallsades, 207 Pa 1 i 5 ades , 2301 Oa k t 2325 Oak, 2349 Oa k, 2401
Oak, 2407 Oak, 2411 Oak, 2408 Oak, 2414 Oakt 323 11th St. , 2428
Oak, 2424 Oak, 2418 Oak, 2423 Oak, 2429 Oa k, 2433 Oa k , 2434 Oa k ,
2438 Oak and 2439 Oak, all within the City of Santa Mon1ca. A
publ1C hearing must be held pursuant to provis1ons all w1thin the
City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Sect10n 5600 et seq. of
sa1d code, the City Counc1l does hereby order and declare that on
the 26th day of July, 1983t at 7:30 P.M.t 1n the Council Chambers
of the City Hallt it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Super1ntendent of Streets of the cost of repalr, together with any
objections or protests, 1f any, which may be raised by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
wr1ting and filed w1th the City Clerk on or before the time set
for hearing of protests and obJections.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mall notices, 1n the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adopt1on of this resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equal1zed asseSSment roll for the City taxes or as known to
the C1ty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adopt1on
of th1S resolut1on and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
