A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION ~ND MAINTE-
NANCE OF ELECTRICAL TRANSFOR~ER EQUIPMENT
LOCATED AT TRANSPORTATION YARDS
WHEREAS, the Southern California Edison Company requires a
Grant of Easement for construction and maintenance of electrical
transformer equipment; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide the required Transformer, the
use of public property 1S required; and
WHEREAS, Southern California Edison Company desires that the
City grant an easement for the use of the public property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an easement is of direct
benefit to the City of Santa Monica,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The grant of easement to Southern Cal1forn1a
Edison Company 15 approved and the City Manager is author1zed to
execute the Grant of Easement attached hereto as Exhibit A.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
