RESOLUTION NO. 6713(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR
ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE
CONFIRMATION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR GUTTER
CONSTRUCTION ON WILSHIRE BOULEVARD BETWEEN
OCEAN AVENUE AND 21ST STREET
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECT ION 1.
That the Superintendent of Streets will
file a report of work pursuant to Section 5882 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Californla, relating to the
construction
of certain improvements completed on Wilshlre
Boulevard between Ocean Avenue and 21st Street, all within the
City of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq. of
said Code, the Clty Council does hereby order and declare that on
the 26th day of July, 1983, in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall, lt will hear and pass upon any and all obJections or
protests to the report of work of the Superintendent of Streets,
and the amount of the assessment assigned against the real
property described 1 n sald report.
SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
wrlting and filed with the City Cl e rk on or before the time set
for hearing of protests and objections.
SECTION 4. The City C1 e rk 1 s hereby dlrected to ma il
notices, in the manner and form prescribed by law, of the
adoptlon of this resolutlon to all persons owning real property
in the hereinbefore descrlbed assessment district whose names and

addresses appear on the 1 as t equalized assessment roll for City
taxes or as known to the City Cl e rk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in fu 11 force and effect.
