RESOLUTION NO. 6718(CC5)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-50)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superintendent of Streets will file
a report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Cal1fornia, relatlng to the
construction of certaln lmprovements to sldewa1ks and driveways at
2455 California, 357 24th St., 2300 California, 2441 Californla,
2004 Californla, 1333 Ocean, 2450 Chelsea Pl., 1045 23rd St., 801
Idaho, 2702 Washlngton, 2471 Oak, 2462 Oak, 2470 Oak, 2561 Oak,
2449 Oak, 2453 Oak, 425 11th St. and 417 11th St., all within the
City of Santa Monlca. A public hearlng must be held pursuant to
provlsions all wlthin the City of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
said code, the Clty Council does hereby order and declare that on
the 9th day of August, 1983, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, lt will hear and pass upon the report by the
Superlntendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together with any
Objections or protests, if any, WhlCh may be raised by any
property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests
wr1ting and filed w1th the City Clerk
for hearing of protests and obJections.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
d1rected to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adopt1on of this resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repa1r program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to
or obJections must be 1n
on or before the time set
the C1ty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
