RESOLUTION NO. 6719(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR
ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE
CONFIRMATION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR
RECONSTRUCTION OF FIRST COURT BETWEEN
COLORADO AND BROADWAY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Superintendent of Streets wll1
file a report of work pursuant to Section 5882 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, relating to the
construction of certaln improvements completed on First Court
between Colorado and Broadway, all within the City of Santa
Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq. of
Sdld Code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on
the 9th day of August, 1983, in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall, it wlll hear and pass upon any and all objections or
protests to the report of work of the Superlntendent of Streets,
and the amount of the assessment asslgned against the real
property described 1 n sald report.
SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
wrlting and fil ed wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearing of protests and objections.
SECTION 4. The City C1 e rk 1 s hereby directed to ma 11
notlces, in the manner and form prescflbed by law, of the
adoption of thlS resolution to all persons owning real property
in the hereinbefore described assessment district whose names and

addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for City
taxes or as known to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5.
The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoption of this resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be 1 n full force and effect.
