A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING ON-STREET PHYSICALLY
DISABLED PARKING SPACES ON: 1) EASTSIDE OF 15TH
STREET NORTH OF ARIZONA AND 2) THE WESTSIDE OF
THIRD STREET NORTH OF HILL STREET
WHEREAS, the City Counc1l of the City of Santa Mon1ca has enacted an
Or1dnance enabl1ng on-street phys1cally disabled park1ng zones to be establ1shed;
and
WHEREAS, Staff is 1n recelpt of two requests for such zones; and
WHEREAS, the Park1ng and Traffic Engineer has considered the request and
concluded based upon the factors stated in the Ordinance, that physically handicapped
parking zones may be installed at the two requested locations,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A physically d1sabled parking space is hereby established on the
eastside of 15th Street north of Arizona Avenue immediately adjacent to the Les Kelly
Clinic.
SECTION 2. A physically disabled parking space between the hours of 9:00 a.m.
and 6:00 p.m., weekdays, is hereby established on the westside of Third Street north
of Hill Street immediately adJacent to the Ocean Park Community Center.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of th1S Resolut1on,
and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
