RESOLUTION NO. 6731(CC5)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR
ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE
CONFIRMATION OF ASSESSMENTS FOR STREET
LIGHTING ON VARIOUS STREETS, All WITHIN THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
HERESY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Superintendent of Streets will
flle a report of work pursuant to Section 5882 of the Streets and
H1ghways Code of the State of California, relating to the
1nstallation of street lighting completed on: 25th Street from
Pearl to Ocean Park~ Euclld
between Brentwood Terrace and
Georgina, 12th Street between Marguerita and Alta and Berkeley
between Montana and Wilshlre, all within the City of Santa
Mon1ca.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Section 5870, et seq. of
said Code, the City Counc11 does hereby order and declare that on
the 13th day of September, 1983, in the Councll Chambers of the
City Hall, it will hear and pass upon any and all objections or
protests to the report of work of the Superintendent of Streets,
and the amount of the assessment asslgned against the real
property described in said report.
SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
wr1ting and f11ed with the City Clerk on or before the time set
for hearing or protests and object10ns.
SECTION 4. The C1ty Clerk is hereby dlrected to mail
not1ces, in the manner and form prescribed by law, of the

adoption of thlS resolution to all persons owning real property
1n the here1nbefore descr1bed assessment distr1ct whose names and
addresses appear on the last equallzed assessment roll for City
taxes or as known to the C1ty Clerk.
SECTION 5.
The Clty Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolut1on, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
