A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-49)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superintendent of Streets will file
a report of repalr pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Cal1fornia, relating to the
constructlon of certa1n improvements to sidewalks and driveways at

Oak, 2407 Oak, 2411 Oak, 2408 Oak, 2414 Oak, 323 11th St., 2428

2438 Oak and 2439 Oak, all w1thTn the Clty of Santa Mon1ca. A
public hearing must be held pursuant to provls1ons all within the
City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
sald code, the C1ty CouncTl does hereby order and declare that on
the 13th day of September, 1983, at 7;30 P.M., 1n the Council
Chambers of the C1ty Hall, it wlll hear and pass upon the report
by the Super1ntendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together
w1th any object1ons or protests, 1f any, WhlCh may be raised by
any property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such
repa1r and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests
wr1tlng and f1led with the City Clerk
for hear1ng of protests and objections.
SECTION 4. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
dlrected to mall notices, in the manner and form prescr1bed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of thlS resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equal1zed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to
the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The C1ty Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
