RESOLUTION NO. 6745(CC5)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-51)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECT I ON 1. That the Super; ntendent of Streets wi 11 fi 1 e
a report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Cal1fornia, relating to the
construction of certaln improvements to sidewalks and driveways at
365 24th St., 509 23rd St., 1004 Pine St., 123 San Vicente, 135
San V1cente, 129 San Vicente, 153 San Vlcente. 150-152 San
Vicente, 130-142 San V1cente, 2461 Cal1fornia, 2525 California,
229 San Vicente, 1138 San Vicente, 2440 Wilshire Blvd. and 2440
Wl1shire Blvd., all w1th1n the City of Santa Mon1ca. A public
hearing must be held pursuant to provisions all within the C1ty of
Santa Monica.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
said code, the City Counc1l does hereby order and declare that on
the 11th day of October, 1983, at 7:30 P.M.. in the Councll
Chambers of the City Hall. it wlll hear and pass upon the report
by the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together
w1th any objections or protests, if any, WhlCh may be raised by
any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such
repair and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
wr1t1ng and f1led with the C1ty Clerk on or before the t1me set
for hearing of protests and object1ons.
SECTION 4.
The Superlntendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notices, 1n the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of this resolution
to all persons own1ng real property affected by the sldewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equalized assessment roll for the C1ty taxes or as known to
the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adopt1on
of th1S resolut10n and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
