RESOLUTION NO. 6575(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF A CHECKING ACCOUNT ENTITLED WORKERS'
COMPENSATION ACCOUNT WITH SANTA MONICA BANK.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1.
Resolution Number 4945 (CCS) be and hereby is rescinded.
SECTION 2.
That the City of Santa Monica is hereby authorized to
establish an account entitled "Workersl Compensation Account" with Santa Monica
Bank upon such terms and conditions as are provided by the Statutes of the State
of Ca~ifornia governing pub~ic deposits.
SECTION 3.
That the Director of Finance, C. Robert Green, and the
City Treasurer, Kay Watanabe, are hereby authorized to deposit funds in said
account~ and to withdraw funds from said account upon warrants and/or checks
signed with both of said signatures duly certified to said bank by the City of
Santa Monica; and said bank hereby is authorized to honor and pay such warrants
and/or checks so signed.
SECTION IJ.
That the following personnel, who are regular employees
of ComCo Management, Inc., self-insurance adMinistrators under contract with the
City of Santa Monica, are hereby authorized individually to withdraw funds from
said account upon warrants and/or checks of less than $3,000.00 each, signed with
anyone of their signatures duly certified to said bank by the City of Santa Monica;
and said bank hereby is authorized to honor and pay such warrants and/or checks so
signed"

SECTION 5.
That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full
force and effect.
