A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
BLUE CROSS OF CALIFORNIA
TO PROVIDE A FEE FOR SERVICE DENTAL PLAN
FOR CITY EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Councl1 of the City
of Santa Monica to provide City employees with fee-for-service
dental insurance which protects employees from the effects of
inflation~ and
WHEREAS, Blue Cross of California has provided such a plan at
a nominal cost, for which provision was made in the 1982-83
budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Council does hereby approve and hereby
City Manager to execute an agreement for a
dental plan with Blue Cross of California, a copy
attached hereto and by this reference made a part
authorizes the
fee-for-service
of which is
hereof.

SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
