RESOLUTION NO. 6597(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-82-39)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets wl1l file
a report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of Californld, relatlng to the
constructlon of certaln improvements to sidewalks and drlveways at
2142 21st Street, 830 Yale, 2202 21st Street, 2212 21st Street,
2228 21st Street, 2232 21st Street, 2210 21st Street, 824 Yale,
842 Yale, 507 Lincoln, 2242 21st Street and 2236 21st Street, all
wlthln the City of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
said code. the City Council does hereby order and declare that on
the 11th day of January, 1982, at 7:30 P.M., 1n the Council
Chambers of the Clty Hall, It will hear and pass upon the report
by the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together
wlth any obJectlons or protests, if any, which may be raised by
any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such
repair and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or obJectlons must be in
writing and filed wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearlng of protests and obJectlons.
SECTION 4.
The Superlntendent of Streets is hereby
dlrected to mail notlces, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoption of thlS resolution
to all persons ownlng real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repalr program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equallzed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to
the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of thlS resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
