AUTHORIZING THl CITY MANAGlR
TO ~XlCUTl A CUN1RACT WITH
CALIFOKNIA PSYCHOLuGICAL HlALTH PLAN
ON BlHALF OF MANAGlMlNT TlAM ASSUCIATlS lMTA)
WHlRlAS~ the City of
MANAG~M~NT T~AM ASSOCIAT~S
Santa Monica and representatives of
(MTA) have previously agreed to a
Memorandum of Understanding, and
WH~R~AS, Article 36 of said Memorandum of Understanding
provides that the City will furnish a mental health insurance
program for members of MANAG~MENT TeAM AS~OCIATeS (MTA) at no cost
to th~ employees; and
WHtRtAS~ representatlves of the City have deterrninea that the
Callfornia PSYl...holu~ical Health Plan proviaes such a prol::lralli with
excellent benefits ana rea~onaDle costs,
NOW, THlKlFOKl~ THl CITY COUNCIL OF THl CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOlS RtSOLVl A) FOLLOWS:
StCTION 1: The City Counc1l does hereby approve and
authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract for
psychological health care insurance with California Psycholo~ical

Health Plan, a copy of WhlCh is attdchea hereto ana by this
reference made a part hereof.
StCTIUN 2: Tne City Clerk shall certlfy to the aaoption of
this Resolutlon ana thenceforth and tnereafter the same shall be
in full force ana effect.
