NOW, TH~REFORE, lHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1, lhat fDrMal blddlng lS hereby wa1ved for the
purchase of two rebu~lt dlfferentlals sInce furtller fur~dl ~ld
procedures would be of no avall and would caose unnecessary ~xpense
and delay.
SECTION 2. lhe Cl1y Manayer 1S hereby au1horlzed to negot~ate
on the open Market to execute a purchase order for the procuret\ent
of two rebullt dlfferentlals for the Transportatlon DepartMent.
SECTION 3. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoptlon of
th1S Resolutlon, and thenceTorth and thereafter the saMe shall be
1n full force and effect.
