RESOLUTION NO. 6605(CC5)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-82-40)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets will file
a report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of California, relatlng to the
constructlon of certaln improvements to sldewalks and drlveways at
2024 21st Street~ 2018 21st Street~ 2019 21st Street~ 2031 21st
Street~ 2017 21st Street, 2015 21st Street~ 2014 21st Street~ 2013
21st Street, 2002 21st Street~ 2038 21st Street~ 2007 21st Street,
2101 Pico Boulevard~ 2029 P1CO Boulevard and 2034 21st Street, all
wlthln the Glty of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of
said code~ the Clty Council does hereby order and declare that on
the 8th day of February~ 1983, at 7:30 P.M.~ in the Gouncll
Chambers of the Clty Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report
by the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together
with any obJections or protests, if any~ WhlCh may be raised by
any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such
repair and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
writlng and filed with the Clty Clerk on or before the tlme set
for hearlng of protests and objections.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mall notices, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoptlon of thlS resolutlon
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to
the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoptlon
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be ln full force and effect.
