RESOLUTION NO. 6615 (CC5)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-41)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets will file
a report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Californla, relatlng to the
constructlon of certain improvements to sidewalks and driveways at
808 Yale, 804 Yale, 836 Yale, 911 Princeton, 923 Prlnceton,
938 Princeton, 2248 21st Street, 2254 21st Street, 2262 21st
Street, 2258 21st Street, 2257 21st Street and 711 21st Place all
withln the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
said code, the City Councll does hereby order and declare that on
the 22nd day of February, 1983, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council
Chambers of the Clty Hall, lt will hear and pass upon the report
by the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together
with any obJections or protests, If any, which may be raised by
any property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such
repair and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or obJections must be in
wf1t1ng and f1led w1th the C1ty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearing of protests and objections.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
d1rected to mall notices, 1n the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of this resolut1on
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equalized assessment roll for the C1ty taxes or as known to
the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certlfy to the adoptlon
of this resolut1on and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
