A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-42)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS fOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets wlll file
a report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of Callfornia~ relating to the
constructlon of certain improvements to sidewalks and driveways at
1948 18th Street, 1958 18th Street, 1963 18th Street~ 2253 21st
Street, 2233 21st Street~ 2243 21st Street~ 2211 21st Street~ 2217
21st Street, 2207 21st Street, 2027 Pearl Street, 946 Princeton
Street~ 849 Princeton Street, 865 Prlnceton Street, 857 Princeton
Street, 932 Princeton Street, 927 Princeton Street, 931 Prlnceton
Street, 917 Princeton Street, 907 Princeton Street and 2227 21st
Street, all within the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
said code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on
the 22nd day of March~ 1983, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together with any
objections or protests, if any, which may be ralsed by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objectlons must be in
writing and flIed with the City Clerk on or before the time set
for hearing of protests and objections.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets js hereby
directed to mall notices, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of this resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equallzed assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to
the City Clerk..
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certlfy to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
