A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING
THE USE OF A TAPE RECORDER TO MAKE A
RECORD OF HEARINGS BEFORE THE
CITY'S HEARING EXAMINER
WHEREAS, Municipal Code Section 6l26(c) authorizes the City
Council to establish by resolution rules for the conduct of
hearings before the City's hearing examiner~ and
WHEREAS, a tape recorder is a cost effective and reliable
method of making a record of hearings before the hearing
examiner,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
A tape recorder shall be used to make a record
of hearings conducted under Municipal Code Section 6126.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
