RESOLUTION NO. 6639(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR ANY
PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKSt DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS. (SR-83-43)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets will file
a report of repa1r pursuant to Sectlon 5617 of the Streets and
Hlghways Code of the State of California~ relating to the
construction of certaln lmprovements to sldewalks and driveways at
1731 Pico, 1802 Delawaret 1847 18th Street, 1811 18th Streett 1753
18th Street, 1807 18th Street, 1843 18th Street, 1837 18th Street,
1827 18th Street, 1833 18th Street, 1817 18th Street, 1823 18th
Street, 1726 Delaware~ 1944 18th Street, 2002 18th Street, 1902
18th Street, 1844 18th Street, 1938 18th Street~ 1838 18th Street
and 1822 18th Street, all within the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2.
That pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of
said codet the City Councll does hereby order and declare that on
the 12th day of April, 1983t at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repair, together with any
obJections or protests, if any, which may be raised by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repair
and any other lnterested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or obJections must be in
wrlting and flled wlth the City Clerk on or before the tlme set
for hearing of protests and obJections.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repair and of the adoption of this resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on the
last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to
the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be 1 n full force and effect.
