RESOLUTION NO. 6646 (CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS AND
POLLING PLACES, AP?OINTING PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS AND
FIXING COMPENSATION FOR THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF
SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 1983.
Whereas. a general municipal election to be held on Tuesday,
April 12. 1983, has been called by Resolution Number 6609{CCS) adopted on
January 11, 1983.
NOW. THEREFORE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. For the purpose of holding Aprll General Municipal
Election, there shall be and are hereby established sixty-five voting pre-
cincts consisting of consolidations of the regular election preclncts 1n
the City of Santa Monica and the Santa Monica-Malibu Unifled School Distrlct
and Santa Monlca Community College District lYlng outside the City of Santa
Monlca, established for the holding of state and county electlons. as said
regular electlon preClncts exist on the date of adoption of this resolution.
The polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places herein-
after deslgnated. The persons hereinafter named, being competent and
qual,fled electors and residents of said City, are hereby appointed precinct
board members for their respective voting precincts and shall hold said
electlon and make return thereof in the manner provided by law:

SECTION 2. The compensat1on of the persons here1nbefore named as

Inspector and $35.00 for each Judge and Clerk for said elect1on. The rental
for each of such polling places where a charge is made shall be the sum of
$25.00 for said election. When required, the compensation of the Custodian
of a building shall be $12.00 for said election.
