SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 5875 of the Streets and
Hi ghways Code t the Ci ty Coun ci 1 of the Cl ty of Sa nta Moni ca orde rs
the construction of concrete sidewalks on the east side of Neilsen
Way between P1CO Boulevard and Bay Street and Bicknell and Strand.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 5876 of the Streets and
Highways Codet the Superintendent of Streets shall notify, in the
manner required by law, the owners of property on the east side of
Neilsen Way between Pica Boulevard and Bay Street to construct or
cause to be constructed sidewalks. The notice shall contain the
information required by Section 5879 of the Streets and Highways
Code and shall also specify the day, hour and place, as set forth
in Section 3 of this Resolutiont where the City Council of the
City of Santa Monlca will hear and pass upon obJections or
protestst lf any, which may be raised by any property owner or
other interested persons.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5878.1 of the
Streets and Highways Codet the City Council of the City of Santa
Monica does hereby order and declare that on the 26th day of
Aprilt 1983t at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of City Hall,
it will hear and pass upon objections or protests, if anYt WhlCh
may be raised by any property owner or other interested person.

SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoptlon of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
