A RESO~UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A
CHECKING ACCOUNT ENTITLED WORKERS' COMPENSATION
ACCOUNT WITH SANTA HONICA BANK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESO~VE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Resolution Number 6575 (CCS) be and hereby 1S
resc1nded.
SECTION 2. The City of Santa Monica 1S hereby authorized to
establlsh an account entitled "Workers' Compensation Account"
with Santa Monica Bank upon such terms and conditions as are
provided by the Statutes of the State of California governing
public deposits.
SECTION 3.
The Acting Director of Finance, ~ynne C.
Barrette, and the C1ty Treasurer, Kay Watanabe, are hereby
author1zed to deposit funds in said account, and to withdraw
funds from said account upon warrants and/or checks signed with
both of sa~d bank hereby is author~zed to honor and pay such
warrants and/or checks so signed.
SECTION
4.
The follow1ng personnel, who are regular
employees
of
ComCo
Management,
Inc. ,
self-1nsurance
administrators under contract with the City of Santa Monica, are

hereby authorlzed indivldually to withdraw funds from said
account upon warrants and/or checks of less than $3,0121121 .121121 each,
signed with anyone of their signatures duly certified to sald
bank by the Clty of Santa Monlca~ and said bank hereby is
authorized to honor and pay such warrants and/or checks so

SECTION 5. The City Clerk shal certify to the adoptlon of
