A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA ORDERING THE CANVASS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 1983 TO BE
MADE BY THE CITY CLERK.
WHEREAS, a regular general mun1cipal election will be held and con-
ducted in the City of Santa Monica on Tuesday, Aprl1 12, 1983 as required
by 1 aw; and
WHEREAS, The Clty Council of said Clty des1res the canvass of sa1d
election to be made by the City Clerk of said C1ty,
NOW. THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Electlons Code Sectlon 22932.5, the canvass
of the regular general municipal election to be held in said City 1S hereby
ordered to be made by the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of said City shall prior to the Tuesday
followlng the election complete the canvass of sald election and shall
certify the results to this City Council on Aprll 19, 1983.
SECTION 3. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
