CITY COUNCIL SERIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA WAIVING FURTHER FORMAL BID
PROCEDURE AND AUTHORIZING DIRECT NEGOTIATION
FOR PURCHASE OF ORGANIC ANALYSIS OF WELL AND
DRINKING WATER SAMPLE.
{{HEREAS, the City of Santa Monica Water Department has a
requirement for Water Analysis and
l?HEREAS, West Coast Technical Services, Inc. has performed
this service for the City in the past
and
'{HEREAS, The Water Department is currently utilizing the
testing values of West Coast Technical Services, Inc.
and
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council finds that the requirement
exists to procure the Water Analysis
SECTION 2. That further bid solicitation would cause un-
necessary expense and delay
SECTION 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to excute
a purchase agreement for the Organic Analysis
SECTION 4 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
