RESOLUTION NO. 6207

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ESTABLISHING A SEWER CONNECTION FEE
WHEREAS, the City Council may establish amend or revise
from time to time by resolution the fee to be charged for any
sewer connection, pursuant to Section 7137 of the Santa Monica
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, a study indicates the need for additional funds
to support necessary maintenance and capital improvements to the
sewer system,
NOW, THEREFORE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Sewer Connection Fee. The fee for sewer
connections to the sewer system shall be as follows:
Single Family Residence
Multi-Family Residence
1 Bedroom Unit
2 Bedroom Unit
3 Bedroom Unit
Hotel/Motel
Commercial Building
Medical Building
Restaurant/Bar
Storage Buildings
Industrial Buildings
$350lunit
175/unit
225/unit
275/unit
450/unit
300/1000 Sq. Ft.
400/1000 Sq. Ft.
25/seat
30/1000 Sq. Ft.
200/1000 Sq. Ft.
The Director of General Services shall
have the authority to set any fee not
covered by the above list.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effec t.
