A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE FILING
OF AN APPLICATION WITH THE LOS ANGF.T,F.R COUNTY
AREA AGENCY ON AGING FOR M;r AMENDMENT TO THE
NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR THE ELDERLY UNDER
TITLE III OF THE OLDER AI1ERICANS ACT OF 1965,
AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica has submltted an appli-
cation for amendment of the Nutri tJ.on Program for the elderly to the
Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica ~s ellgible to receive
funds under the Older Americans Act for the establishment of a
~ Nutrition Program for the elderly; and
WHEREAS, the C~ty of Santa Monica has received
approval from the Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging to
administer the add1tional one time only funds ~n the amount of Two
Thousand, Twenty Two ($2,022) Dollars as an amendment to the
existing contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the C~ty Manager, or in his absence,
the C~ty Clerk, is authorized to file an application a:nC. to execute any
contracts related thereto, on behalf of the City of Santa Monica
with the Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging for One Hundred
Forty ~housand, Seven Hundred Twenty Seven ($140,727) Dollars to be
used for ~ Nutrition Program for the elderly.

SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
