A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ~ONICA WAIVING FURTHE~ FOffi1AL BID PROCEDURE
AND AUTHORIZING REIMBURSE~mNT FOR OFFICE SUPPLIES
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica has a reauirement for
Office Supplies which exceeds the amount of a nreviously issued
Purchase Order # 43280.
WHEREAS, Purchases of supplies are anticipated in excess of
the Purchase Order amount through March 31, 1981 of $12,000
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council finds that the requirement
exists to authorize extention of the amount of Purchase Order
# 43280 to Bayless Stationers for expenditures for Office supn1ies.
SECTION 2. That further bid solicitation would cause un-
necessary expense and delay.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager is hereby aut~orized to
extend the amount of Purchase Order # 43280 to Bayless Stationers
for the Office Supplies, by an additional $12,000.00
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adontion of
this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
