A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA, CALIFO~\IA, RATIFYING THE SPECIAL COUNCIL
~EETING OF WEDNESDAY, AP~IL 22, 1981, AND THE ACTIONS
TAKEN THEREAT.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA HONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIO~ 1: The SpecIal Call Council }leetIng of April 22, 1981,
IS dcclarec to be a valid meeting of the Santa Monic2 CIty Council,
notict havin[ been gIven to the publIC and Councilmembers pursuant
to CIty Charter SectIon 612 and to the public and a majority of thE
Councllmembers pursuaht tc the Governmeht Code.
SECTION 2: The following actions of the CIty Council, taken at
the meeting of April 22, 1981, are hereby ratIfIed.
1. Ordinance No. 1205, intloducing and adopting an emergency
building moratorIum ordlnahce was adopted.
2. A CItIzens Task Forcp on Crime Prevention was estatlished.
3. CIty Clerk was directed to call for applicatlon~ for
vacancy on Planninb COF@lssion.
4. Robert Myers was appcInted as CIty Attorney and Stephen
Stark ~as appointed as Assistant City AttorntY.
5. A motIon wa~ pa~sed
ratIfying the 8peclal Call Meeting
cf AprIl 22, 1981.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full
forcr and effect.
