RESOLUTION NO.6276

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1981-1982, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the fiscal year
1981-l982 was submitted to the City Council thirty-five (35)
days prior to July 1, 1981~ and,
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on
said budget after a notice of said budget hearing was
published not less than ten (10) days prior thereto~ and
WHEREAS,
after said public hearing, the City
Council considered further its proposed budget~
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the budget for the fiscal year
1981-1982 as submitted by the City Manager and revised by the
City Council which budget is entitled "Annual Budget, City of
Santa Monica, Fiscal Year 1981-1982", a copy of which budget
is attached hereto, is hereby approved and adopted. In
adopting said budget, the City Council intends to and by
this Section does adopt and approve the total figure for
Salaries and Wages, Supplies and Expense, and Capital for
each departmental and non-departmental budget.

SECTION 2. That a certified copy of said budget
be filed with the Director of Finance/City Controller and
with the City Clerk and certified copies of said budget be
reproduced and made available for use as directed by Section
1505 of the Charter of said City.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
