A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~HE CITY OF
SANTA HONCICA HAlVING FURTHER FOIDA.AL BID PRO-
CEDURE AND AUTHORIZING DIP~CT NEGOTIATION FOR
PURCHASE OF ~~INTENANCE SERVICE
\~EREAS, the City of Santa Monica Data Processing Departnent
has a requirement for Equipment Maintenance Service.
~lliEP~AS, only one (1) Source, Hewlett Packard can fulfil this
requirement.
NOW THEP~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council finds that the requriement
exists to procure the Maintenance Service.
SECTION 2. That to advertise for bids would be to no avail and
would cause unnecessary expense and delay.
SECTION 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a purchase agreement for this service.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
os this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
