RESQlUT ION NO. 6313
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CONCRETE GUTTERS ON ELEVENTH STREET BETWEEN
SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD AND OLYMPIC BOULEVARD~
ALL WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa ~onica, on the
9th day of June~ adopted Resolution No. 6275 tCCS) setting a public hearing:
WHEREAS, written notices of sald lmprovement have been given in
the manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, any and all written objections and protests to the work
or tbe extent of the dlstrict to be assessed were heard and considered by
the City Councll;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the punlic convenience and necesslty require
the construction of concrete gutters along Eleventh Street between Santa
Monica Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard~ all within the City of Santa Monlca.
SECTION 2. That all protests and objections of every kind and
nature to the construction of concrete gutters on Eleventh Street netween
Santa Monlca Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard~ all within the City of Santa
Monica, be and the same are here~y overruled and denied.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section
5880, the Street Superintendent is directed to commence the construction of
concrete gutters above described if the construction is not commenced and
prosecuted to completion with due dlligence by any property owner as required
by Streets and Hlghways Code Section 58]9,

SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certlfy to the adoption
of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full
force and effect.
