RESOLUTION NO. 6314
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING
FEES CHARGED FOR SANITATION BIN
RENTAL AND ROLL-OUT SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City Council introduced and adopted an
ordinance amending Section 5228D of the Santa Monica Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 5228D of the Santa Monica Municipal
Code repeals former fees and allows future fees for sanitation bin
rental and roll-out services to be set by resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The fees for bin rental from the City shall
be:
Frequency of Collection
Type of Bin Twice Weekly Six Times Weekly
2 Yard $5.45/month $16.40/month
3 Yard $8.20/month $24.55/month
SECTION 2. The fees for roll-out charges shall be:
Twice Weekly Collection
$ 7.40/month
24.55/month
Six Times a Week Collection
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
