A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA :-lONICA t-lAIVING FURTHER FORHAL BID PRO-
CEDURE AND AUTHORIZING DIRECT NEGOTIATION FOR
PURCHASE OF A SIX BIN TRAILER
HHEREAS, the City of Santa l10nica has a requirement
for a six bin trailer
~~REAS, to the best of Staff's knowledge only one
company can supply the equipment necessary for the re-
cycling program.
Nm-l THEREFORE, THE CITY COID'fCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council finds that the requirement
exists to purchase the six bin trailer
SECTION 2. This is a Proprietary or Sole Source procurement
under Section 2506A of the Santa Monica Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. That the City Hanager is hereby authorized to
execute a purchase agreement for the equipQent.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
