A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAl~TA MONICA WAIAIVNG FOR}1AL BID PROCEDURE
AND AUTHORIZING DIRECT NEGOTIATION FOR INSTALLATION
OF mUTE PAPER RECYCLING.
H'rIEREAS. the City of Santa Ylonica has need of the service of
a white paper recycling project, and
vJHEREAS, through an informal bidding process a high bidder
on this service is identifiable. and
vffiEREAS. to foroally bid this service would be of no avail and
would cause unnecessary expense and delay.
NOW THEREFOP~, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOHS:
SECTION 1. To foroally bid for white paper recycling service
would be of no avail and would cause unnecessary expense and delay.
SECTION 2. The City Hanager is hereby authorized to execute
an agreement with Ecolohaul for the white paper recycling service
in accordance with the terms of an informal b~dding proceedure.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
