RESOLUTION NO. 6335 (CCS)
CITY COUNCIL SERIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA WAIVING FORMAL BID PROCEDURE AND AUTHORIZING
DIRECT NEGOTIATION FOR PURCHASE OF T-SHIRTS
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica Recreatlon and Parks Dlvlsion
has a requirement for Promotional T-Shirts for the August 30,1981,
Marathon; and
WHEREAS, the City has informally advertised for bids to supply
these T-Shirts;
NOW, THEREFORE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOllOWS:
SECTION NO.1 That the City Councll flnds the requirement exists
to purchase the Promotlonal T-Shirts.
SECTION NO.2 That the lnformal bid solicitatlon 15 sufficlent
search of the market and further b1d sollcitation would cause unnecessary
expense and delay.
SECTION NO.3 That the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a purchase agreement for the T-Shirts.
SECTION NO.4 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolutlon. and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
