RESOLUTION NO. 6342

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 6270, WHICH ESTABLISHED
TASK FORCES ON DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITY, AND
APPOINTING PLANNING COMMISSIONERS
TO THE TASK FORCES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following members of the Planning
CommiSSIon are appointed to the Task Forces on Development:
Commissioner Robert M. Kleffel -- Commercial and Industrial
Task Force.
Commissioner Robert Sullivan -- Residential Task Force.
Commissioner Herbert A. Katz, Jr. -- Permit Process and
NeIghborhood Planning Task Force.
SECTION 2. Resolution No. 6270, establishing Task Forces
on Development in the City, is hereby amended as follows:
a. The PlannIng Commission shall hold a public hearing on
the recommendations of the Task Force on Residential Development
no later than August 17, 1981.
b. The Task Force on ResidentIal Development, and not the
Task Force on Commercial Development, shall consider the question
"what residential zones might be rezoned to accomodate mIxed
uses?" The question shall be given first priority status.

c. The Task Force on CommercIal Development shall give
first priorIty, and not second priorIty, to the questIon
regarding the establishment of fees or other provIsions for
recreatIonal and other uses (Section 5{l)).
d. The Task Force on CommercIal Development shall
consIder, as a second prIority item, the establishment of
standards for commercial condominium development in the City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest to the adoption of
this Resolution and thereafter it shall be in full force and
effect.
