A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A
HEARING DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR
OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING
REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, ORIVEWAYS AND
CURBS. (SR-82-26)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOllOWS;
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets
wl11 fl1e a report of repalr pursuant to Section 5617 of
the
Streets
and
Hlghways Code of the State of
Callfornla, relatlng to the constructlon of certaln
lmprovements to sldewa1ks and drlveways all with,n the
C1ty of Santa Mon1ca.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Sect,on 5600 et
seq. of said code, the C1ty Counc,l does hereby order
and declare that on the 11th day of May, 1982, at 7:30
P.M., 1" the Councl1 Chambers of the Clty Hall, lt wl11
hear and pass upon the report by the Superlntendent of
Streets of the cost of repalr, together wlth any
objectlons or protests, ,f any, wh,ch may be ralsed by
any property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of
such repa,r and any other lnterested persons.
SECTION 3.
That all protests or objectlons
must be In wr,tlng and fl1ed wlth the Clty Clerk on or
before
the tlme set for hearlng of protests and
objectlons.

SECTION 4. The Super1ntendent of Streets 1S
hereby dlrected to mall notlces, in the m~nner and form
prescribed by law, of the cost of repalr and of the
adoptlon of thlS resolutlon to all persons ownlng real
property affected by the sldewalk assessment repalr
program, whose names and addresses appear on the last
equallzed assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5.
The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to
the adoptlon of thlS resolution and thenceforth and
thereafter the same shall be In full force and effect.
