RESOLUTION NO. 6485(CC5)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A
HEARING DA~E FOR ANY PROTESTS OR
OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING
REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVE~lAYS AND
CURBS. (SR-82- 28) .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
HER BY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Super~ntendent of Streets
w~ll f~le a report of repa~r pursuant to Sect~on 5617 of
the Streets and H~ghways Code of the State of Californ~a,
relatlng to the construction of certa~n improvements to sldewalks
and drlveways all w~thln the Clty of Santa Mon~ca.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et seq. of
sald code, the C~ty Council does hereby order and declare that
on ~he 22nd of June, 1982, at 7:30pm, ln the Council Chambers of
thE Clty Hall, ~t w~ll hear and pass upon the report by the
Su~ rlntendent of Streets of the cost of repa~r, together wlth
an} Ob]ectlons or protests, lf any, wh~ch may be ralsed by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other lnterested persons.
SECTIOlJ 3. That all protests or obJections must be
In wrltlng and flied wlth the Cl~y Clerk on or before the tlme
set for hearlng of protests and ob]ect~ons.

SECTION 4. The Super~ntendent of Streets lS hereby
dlrected to mall notlces, In the manner and form prescrlbed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adopt~on of thls resolutlon
to all persons ownlng real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repalr program, whose names and addresses appear on the
1 3t equallzed assessment roll for the Clty taxes or as known to
t ':'! Cl ty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
ac Jptlon of thlS resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be ln full force and effect.
